And the best part? You don't need any florist skills. 😉 ✨ The Look We’re Creating We are creating a lush floral runner with glowing tealight candles, floating pearls, and a luxe finish. It gives elegance and romance. 🛒 Materials You’ll Need Here’s everything to recreate this beauty: Faux Florals and greenery(Your Colour Choice): Choose colours that match your theme. I buy my florals mostly from Shein but if you are looking for something more specific then here are some online retailers to check out. Bear in mind, these are pricier. https://www.artificialfloralsupplies.co.uk/collections/single-stems-sprays https://villagegreenuk.com/shop/flower-type/ (some of the flowers on this website you will not find on Shein but If I see a flower here that I like, I check if it is also available on shein and compare prices). https://www.floralsilk.co.uk/artificial-flowers/flower-stems/ Insulation tubes or swimming noodles. - They are usually around 150cm to 200cm long and you can find them on shein as well. For the insulation tubes, you can find them in any DIY store or website such as B&Q. They do come in different diameters. Decorative Water Beads - I loves these and the effect they create. Click the title at the start for where I buy mine. artificial pearl crystals - available in lots of different colours. Cable ties - because you will be using two tubes side by side, you will need cable ties that are betweeen 35cm to 40cm in lenght. If you have shorter ones, not to worry, you can connect two cable times together to make one long one. That's what I did for this installation. tealight candles & water 6 wine glasses depending on how long your runner will be. Note that these are not essential. It just depends on the look you are going for. Step-by-Step Instructions Step 1 – Create Your Base Lay two insulation tubes / pool noodles side by side along the centre of the table. 💡 Tip:Cut them to match table length if needed. Nestle the wine glasses between the tubes about 7 - 10cm apart and tie between each wine glass with your cable ties. Cut off any excess part of the cable ties. Watch this process in my video on youtube. Step 2 – Adding your florals Now start by adding your greenery on either side of the tubes to cover the tube. You will need to do this evenly across the whole lenght of the tubes. When you get to either ends of the tube, you want to add more greenery. Focus on the upper sides of the tubes as the greenery will cover the lower sides of the tube. Think about the shape you want to achieve. You may layer your greenery so that some are longer than others or you may want to keep them all the same lenght. Next add your choice of flowers. I start with the larger buds/flower heads and I place them on either sides of the tube. Again with the flowers, I like to create a layered effect by having a mixture of tall stems and short stems. Then add your filler flowers to add texture and fullnes to your creation. Styling Tip: When adding florals, place them in small clusters of three rather than spacing them evenly. Odd-number groupings are more pleasing to the eye and create a softer, more organic, designer-style finish. Clusters of three add: ✨ Visual interest ✨ A sense of movement ✨ A fuller, more luxurious look step 3 - add the luxe candle feature. Your water beads will come in tiny clear pellets and will need to be soaked in water for a few hours before they turn into the beautiful clear balls you see in the videos. Just follow the instructions on the packet. Once your beads are ready, add a few into each of your wine glasses. To create a layered effect with the pearls, add the first layer of beads, then add one or 2 pears of differing sizes. Next ads annother layer of beads then one or two pearls and finally add another layer of beads. Only fill the cup up to half way with the beads because they will rise as soon as you add water. Once water ha been added. You will see the beautiful effect that is created as the pearls will look like they are suspended/floating in the glass. There is something so special about welcoming a new baby. It’s emotional, joyful, and absolutely worth celebrating. Recently, someone reached out to me to give her a quote for a sailboard backdrop. She had just welcomed her gorgeous baby girl into the world and wanted to have a small celebration with her family and a small group of friends. She sent me the inspo photos. I gave her a quote. She was honest with me and admitted that she was on a tight budget. I suggested she do the decorating herself and helped her source some of the décor she used. It occurred to me that there might be people in a similar situation. However, I know that decorating can feel expensive and veorwhelming and you may even be wondering, “Where do I even start?!” Good news, you do NOT need a huge budget to create a stunning focal point. Let me show you how. First… What Is a Focal Point? Your focal point is the photo area, the space that draws attention. Budget-Friendly Focal Point Formula Here’s a simple structure that works every time:  Backdrop  Balloons  Table styling  Small detail pieces First of all, start with a backdrop (Your Anchor Piece). A backdrop instantly elevates your setup. For a luxe look without the luxe price tag, use a cardboard arch/sailboard. It’s lightweight, affordable, reusable and looks HIGH-END! You can find personalised cardboard sailboards here: They can be customised with baby’s name and a welcome message of your choice at no extra cost. Next, add your balloons (The Drama Layer). Balloons = instant celebration energy. You don’t need a massive installation and many videos on YouTube will show you how to make small garland and balloon clusters.  Budget Tip Stick to 2–3 colours. The example from this setup was a simple combination of Soft pink and White. This keeps things elegant & cohesive.  Where to Buy Balloons Now you have to be careful here. Before becoming a balloon artist, I thought all balloons were the same, but I know better now. I don’t want to spend too much time on this aspect, but suffice to say that when buying balloons, you must ensure that you are purchasing good-quality balloons. Buying cheap latex balloons can become a serious health and safety issue because they sometimes contain up to 9 times the permitted level of nitrosamine (cancer-causing chemical), which is heavily restricted in the UK. So, choose carefully where you buy your balloons and read the label. Here is a websites where you can buy good-quality balloons. Style a Simple Table You just need: Clean tablecloth Tiered stands Coordinated treats Display boxes   Where to Buy Shein - search for tiered dessert stand Search for “White cake stand” or “Dessert display risers.” Add Small Luxe Details This is where budget setups become BEAUTIFUL. Add:  Artificial florals  Cute signage  Themed props like the butterfly details and the soft bows in the inspo photo. Where to buy details SHEIN (surprisingly great for props!) Amazon Hobbycraft Search: Artificial flowers Party table decorations Baby shower props Pro Styling Trick (Game-Changer!) Layer heights. To do this, use boxes, stands, and risers to create dimension, interest and a luxe feel. Remember: Flat tables = boring Layered tables = WOW! And remember, good lighting + clean layout creates magic.  Final Thought From Me A beautiful celebration is NOT about spending more.
